As part of the Retreat, Breathing Space offered several classes. These were my Favorite (in no particular order)!
Cooking with the Food Nanny, Liz Edmunds.
I'm 2nd from the left, if you're wondering. . .
The Food Nanny shared her passion about how important having family dinner together as a family is! I couldn't agree more with her. She also shared the plan she uses and has used for the last 30+ years to help her get dinner on the table every night. How does she do it? She uses theme nights. Monday- Comfort Food, Tuesday-Italian, Wednesday-Meatless, Fish, or Breakfast, Thursday-Mexican, Friday- Pizza, Saturday- Grill, Sunday- Tradition.
You better believe I've already planed my dinners (thanks to her online pdf's) using her plan. Thank You Food Nanny. I really want to buy her book, full of all sorts of yummy recipes!
I was also able to take a class from the founder of The Sweet Tooth Fairy, Megan Faulkner Brown.
She taught us how to frost a cupcake and then let us frost and decorate our own. Thank You Megan!
I also took a Style class from Becki the rockin' lady behind Whippy Cake and those dang cute headbands! Here I am having the class decide what "season" I am. Becki taught all about how to dress for your style, body-type, and coloring. By the way, I'm an Autumn (if you were wondering).
